Terms and conditions

Cancellation policy

To ensure efficient scheduling and optimal service for all our clients, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee. We understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Reglazing own frame

Patients may opt to have their own frames reglazed at their own risk and are liable for all expenses incurred. The Laboratory we use will undertake reglazing services with utmost care, but we cannot guarantee the condition of the frame following the process. We are not liable for any pre-existing damage or potential issues that may arise during reglazing. Patients acknowledge that reglazing their own frames carries inherent risks, and any resulting damage or dissatisfaction is not the responsibility of the optician or the practice. By choosing this service, patients agree to accept the condition of their frames post-reglazing and waive any claims against the practice.

Chaperone

At Guernsey Eyes we are committed to providing a comfortable and safe environment. All our patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation. Please inform our reception staff when booking your appointment that you require a chaperone. This person can be a family member, a friend, or a member of our staff. If you do not inform us in advance of your requirement of a chaperone, we may have to re-book your appointment to allow arrangements to be made for a suitable chaperone to be present during your consultation. We trust this policy meets to your total satisfaction. Should you have any concerns or queries, you may contact the practice on 01481 265442 or via e- mail at info@Guernseyeyes.gg
